Isis: media, 150 fighters from Kosovo, including 42 women

Daily 'Zeros' reported today in Pristina

(ANSA) - PRISTINA - More than 150 Islamic extremists from Kosovo fight in Syria alongside the jihadist formations of the Islamic state, including 42 women whose average age is 23, the daily 'Zeros' reported today in Pristina. One of the women fighters from Kosovo is Chamilje Tahiri, who is the head of the women training programme of the Islamic state in Syria and Iraq.

 

Tahiri, the daily reported, originates from Shipov, near Kosovska Mitrovica, and went to Syria along with her husband, who died while he was fighting in the ranks of IS. This woman lives in Syria with two young children and is involved actively in the recruitment of other women and girls fighters in Kosovo. (ANSA).
