(ANSA) - BERLIN - The influx of migrants into Germany
continues: they enter the country crossing the border between
Austria and Bavaria.
According to a spokesman for the German federal police, about
5,500 people have arrived in Passau on Tuesday. About 8,000
arrivals had been recorded the previous day.
Two migrants have almost drowned after they jumped, in dispair,
into river Inn, which marks the border between Austria and
Germany. Dragged into the current, the two migrants saved
themselves by clinging to the pylon of a bridge, before being
rescued by police.
This morning, the two reception centres located in Lower
Bavaria - Passau and Ruhstorf - received, respectively, 1,700
and 1,000 migrants who will be redistributed to other centres in
coming hours.(ANSA).
