But Prague will not follow. Orban, we will comply with decisions

(ANSA) - BRATISLAVA - Slovakia has officially announced that Bratislava is about to take legal action against the decision on EU migrant distribution made yesterday by a majority in the European parliament, according to Slovak premier Robert Fico.

In the meantime, the Czech Republic annuounced that the government has no intention of following in Bratislava's footsteps. Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka said that ''we don't want to stir up political tensions. It is not worth pushing it too far''. Hungary's Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, said that Budapest will not support the idea - which has already been announced - of asking today's summit of the EU's 28 countries to ''review'' the decision on the distribution quotas of migrants who should be relocated.

According to EU diplomatic sources, Hungary will comply with the decisions made by Europe's justice and home affairs council and will take care of the refugees assigned to the country. ''We did not agree. We do not think that is the solution, but now we want to close this chapter and then move on'', sources say. (ANSA).
