Elifriulia wins contract for Hems in Croatia

Pilot project to test daytime helicopter rescue

(ANSA) - GORIZIA - Elifriulia, helicopter company based in Ronchi dei Legionari (Gorizia), renowned for having created the air ambulance service in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, has won a contract for the helicopter emergency medical service (Hems) in Croatia. The contract was signed yesterday in Zagreb.

It's a 4-month pilot project which aims to test and gather statistics on the benefits of a daytime Hems service, meeting the European regulatory requirements.

The service will be provided by using the following helicopters: EC135 T2 + based in the region of Primorje-Montana (River) and operated by Elifriulia, and H145 based in the region Split-Dalmatia (Split), operated by Airgreen. The reference airbases are, respectively, the Krk airport (Rijeka) and the Bra airport (Split). (ANSA).
