Germany, in 2015 migrants exceed 450,000 threshold
Media, total cost up to 6bn, more than double the number in 2014

(ANSA) - BERLIN - While in Germany the protests and attacks
on refugee centres are increasing, especially those under
construction, the German authorities need to prepare for
accomodating this year many more immigrants than the 450,000
which had been previously estimated by the government led by
Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Reception and settlement will cost the Federal Government, the
Laender and the involved municipalities between 5 and 6 billion
euros. These data were highlighted in some estimates provided by
the local press. (ANSA).
