(ANSA) - SARAJEVO - On the occasion of his visit to Sarajevo on June 6, Pope Francis will fulfill a big wish made by Marin Cvitkovic, a postman who lives in Mostar and breeds pigeons as a hobby. On the staircase of the Bosnian presidential palace, Pope Francis will release three white doves. This gesture is meant to symbolise his blessing for the three Bosnian peoples (Serbs, Croats and Muslims). ''Doves represent peace and love; I'm hoping that they will finally bring the gift of a normal life to all the peoples of this country'', Cvitkovic said. Now aged 39, he keeps on breeding pigeons since he was 10. When the Pope's visit was announced, he has immediately offered 30 of his pigeons, in order to ''help spread Francis's message of peace''.
