Macedonia-Albania, defence minister from Tirana in Skopje

EU integration, Balkans stability to fight against terrorism

(ANSA) - SKOPJE - The joint support to the prospect of European integration, the efforts to ensure that the Balkan region is stable, the fight against the growing threat of terrorism were the main issues of the talks, held in Skopje, between Albania's defence minister Mimi Kodeli and the Macedonian leadership.

Kodeli guaranteed President Gjorgje Ivanov, Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski and Defence Minister Zoran Jolevski, Albania's support to Macedonia's NATO accession, and emphasized that he's interested in strengthening cooperation in defence matters. Tirana also declared its willingness to make its contribution to find a solution to the naming dispute between Macedonia and Greece. (ANSA).
