EU Parliament approves EUR 126.7 mln disaster relief

(ANSA) - TRIESTE - The EU Parliament has approved 126.7 million euros in natural disaster relief, according to a note published on the Parliament website.
The funds will be allocated to help Italy, Greece, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Bulgaria cope with the aftermath of natural disasters in 2013 and 2014 have been approved by Parliament.
The largest individual amount will be allocated to Serbia - more than 60,2 million for dealing with the aftermath of the devastating floods which hit the Balkan region in May, followed by Slovenia (18,3 million for ice storm), Croatia (8,6mln for ice storm and 8,9 for flood relief), Italy (16,3 mln for flood relief), Bulgaria (10 mln for flood relief).(ANSA)
