Post-modern architect Hans Hollein dies in Vienna

He was among the protagonists in post-modern architecture

(ANSA) - VIENNA - Austrian architect, artist and designer Hans Hollein has died in Vienna after a long illness, local media reported. Hollein, born in 1934, was considered one of the protagonists in post-modern architecture across Europe. Among his most important works, the building of the Austrian Embassy in Berlin, the Museum of Modern Art in Frankfurt, the 'Vulcania' at Saint-Ours-les-Roches , and the Haas House in Vienna. In 1985 he won the Pritzker Prize, the 'Oscar' Prize for architecture. (ANSA) .
