This company proves that offshoring can be a key driver of economic development both in Italy and in Bosnia and Herzegovina'', the Italian Ambassador Ruggero Corrias said during his visit at the footwear factory ''Olip d.o.o.'' in Travnik, accompanied by some representatives of the local authority, customers and Italian partners of the company, along with Massimo Sessa, Director of ICE Sarajevo - Italian Trade Commisssion. The Olip d.o.o., founded in the eighties through a joint venture with its counterpart company in Verona, directly employs more than 1,200 people and has nearly 30 companies in the area of Travnik (north-west of Sarajevo), which are able to provide 1,000 more jobs.(ANSA).
