"Hymn to the dance" at the Prague State Opera

World premiere, work by choreographer Jacopo Godani

(ANSA) - PRAGUE - A hymn to the dance, ''Ballettissimo!'', named after an Italian superlative adjective, will be performed on March 5 at the State Opera of Prague. It's the world premiere of ''Reflections On The Fate Of Human Forms'', a work of art signed by Italian choreographer Jacopo Godani, from la Spezia, who also designed costumes.

Choreographer Petr Zuska, who's currently working at National Theatre, has linked up the first two movements of the 1st Symphony by Gustav Mahler (costumes by Roman olc), and then addede a grand finale with the VII Symphony by Ludwig van Beethoven revisited through choreography, scenes and costumes designed by Uwe Scholz. Jacopo Godani, who's based in Frankfurt, is one of the most appreciated choreographers in Europe.

''Reflections On The Fate Of Human Forms'' is a percussion-based work, which highlights the artistic qualities of Nikola Marova and Michal tipa, soloists of the National Theatre and of the whole corps de ballet, that includes five Italian artists . On stage the Opera Orchestra conducted by Jakub Klecker. (ANSA).
