(ANSA) - PALERMO, NOVEMBER - The project 'Olive Oil of Peace' will be at one of the largest shopping centers in the world in Doha from March. The project was designed by Manfredi Barbera and promoted by COFOIL in partnership with the regional agriculture councilor's office, the Bio-Mediterranean Cluster of Expo Milano 2015 and the former Enna province, with its international experimental field of the Zagaria olive germoplasm. The pressing of Mediterranean olives from 400 species originating in dozens of countries was done in Custonaci at the Premiati Oleifici Barbera and Bio-Mediterranean facilities. ''The Zagaria experimental field,'' Barbera said, ''is a large resource for Sicily, with over 400 types of olives from around the world that have been pressed together to produce a unique oil, symbol of peace and integration between populations.''
