After success at Expo, city near Ragusa celebrates its chocolate

(ANSA) - PALERMO, NOVEMBER 25 - Trenitalia and state railways
Ferrovie dello Stato have joined forces with the municipality of
Modica, enabling visitors to travel aboard a historic train on
December 5 and 6 from the Sicilian city of Catania to Modica to
celebrate the festival of chocolate in the town near Ragusa. The
train is called Chocomodicaexpress.
ChocoModica will take place over the first weekend of December. The event showcases typical chocolate from the town, which was extremely successful also at the six-month Milan Expo 2015 world's fair that wrapped up on October 31. The special train, which has cars dating back to the start of the 20th century, will enable 250 passengers to reach the event after travelling through the provinces of south-east Sicily.
The departure time is 7:55 am from Catania and stopovers include Lentini (8:55), Augusta (9:36), Siracusa (10:30), Noto (11:01), Pozzallo (11:32), Modica (1:.05). The train will return to Catania at 5:50 pm and arrive at 9:40, with the same stopovers. (ANSA).
