(ANSA) - PALERMO, NOVEMBER 19 - In continuation of the
collaborative activities set in motion with China in 2014, the
regional productive activities department and Sicilian partners
from the Enterprise Europe Network organized an EU-China mission
as part of the tenth EU-China Business and Technology
Cooperation Fair. The mission took place in Chengdu, the
capital of Sichuan, and Myanyang from November 8 to 12. The
international fair involved 4,400 Chinese enterprises and 2,400
firms, with 22,291 bilateral meetings. Over one third of the
participants successfully reached an agreement. The fair
therefore offers an important cooperation platform in China for
investments, trade and technology between the EU and China.
Sicily organized a B2B event with tailored, individual meetings
with for every participant. The 30-minute, pre-organized
meetings aimed to enable participants to find international
partners for technological transfer, trade cooperation and
collaborative research. To take part, one must register
online with an introduction of oneself, one's organization and
trade or online technological cooperation profile, and then
select partners of interest. (ANSA).
