(ANSA) - MILAN, NOVEMBER 4 - The figures for Expo Milano 2015 pavilions have made their sponsors and partners (from Martini to Perugina to Sanpellegrino) very pleased. The Sanpellegrino group said that its products had been ''seen by 15 million people'', and quenched the thirst of ''25% of visitors''. There were also 7,000 participants in workshops and conferences on the importance of hydration. Chairman and CEO Stefano Agostini said that the Expo ''was a unique opportunity for the entire Italian agrofood sector. This shows that when Italy is committed and works together, it can achieve significant success.'' The same view was expressed by Perugina, which noted that ''Baci Perugina ended this adventure with over 600,000 visitors, proving its role as iconic product not only of Perugina but also of Italian products,'' reads a company statement. ''The Expo,'' said the Italian branch of Nestlè, Corrado Castrovillari, ''was a unique showcase.'' Martini said that some 150,000 of its drinks had been sold in 6 months at Expo Milano 2015, and over 250 events held. Sara Miranti, the company's marketing manager for southern Europe, said that ''Martini is proud of having contributed to the Expo's success''. (ANSA).
