Arab 'Chamber of marvels' at the Biomed
Sgarbi will participate to the debate on the Palermo finding

(ANSA) - MILAN, OCTOBER 22 - The "Chamber of Marvels" will
vicariously appear at Milan EXPO tomorrow.
A documentary on the Arab embellishments accidentally
discovered by journalists Giuseppe Cadili and Valeria
Giarrusso in Porta di Castro street, in the historical heart of
Palermo, will be screened at 5 p.m at the bio-Mediterranean
cluster.
A debate will follow with the participation of art critic Vittorio Sgarbi, who visited the Arab room on several occasions, Grazia Patellaro, president of Ilà association, Institute for teaching and culture, Ibrahim Magdud of the Palermo Libyan Academy, Gianpiero Vincenzo of the Catania Art Academy, restorer Franco Fazzio who discovered the four layers of colour which hid the decorations and the director of the video Salvatore Militello. All Arab countries have been invited to the event organised by the Sicilian Region.
