(ANSA) - PALERMO, AUGUST 31 - As of January the experience of the Milan Expo 2015 world's fair will produce a permanent exhibit at the archaeological park 'Vincenzo Tusa' in Selinunte.

The announcement was made by the president of the committee ''Expo Selinunte/Valle del Belice'', Paolo Calcara, during a conference to present the initiative in Piazzetta Sicilia.

The permanent exhibit styled after Expo 2015 of typical food from the territories represented by the committee will create a square dedicated to food and wine at the park's entrance that will tell the story of territories and foods of excellence for both foreigners and Italians visiting the area. Each of the 11 municipalities will have an exhibition area, styled after the squares of the world's fair, where typical products can be discovered and savored.

The committee gathers 11 cities from the area of Trapani (Castelvetrano, Campobello di Mazara, Santa Ninfa, Partanna, Gibellina, Salaparuta and Poggioreale) and Agrigento (Sambuca, Santa Margherita di Belice, Montevago, Menfi) together with the archaeological park of Selinunte-Cave di Cusa ''Vincenzo Tusa''.
