Coldiretti to hand out fruit at Expo
Farmers promoting healthy eating habits

(ANSA) - MILAN, JULY 27 - Coldiretti farmers' association is
set to distribute 50,000 kilos of free fruit to Expo world's
fair visitors in a bid to promote healthy eating habits during
Tuesday's Fruit Festival.
Other initiatives include an exhibit of watermelon sculptures, and a conference at Coldiretti's No Farmers, No Party pavilion with Agriculture Minister Maurizio Martina.
The objective of the Coldiretti pavilion is to narrate the bonds between Italy's economy and society and its farmers in their roles as producers, custodians of natural beauties, innovators, and drivers of local communities. (ANSA).
