Agricoltural and fishing district meeting in Palermo after Expo

(ANSA) - PALERMO, JULY 3 - The state of human health and its relation to daily nutrition is the theme of the lecture titled "Food, epigenoma, aging and chronic and degenerative illnesses", held in Palermo by world renowned expert, James E. Trosko.

Professor and researcher at the University of Lansing, in Michigan (US), Trosko, who is also member of the 'American Cancer Society and the winner of the "World Class University" prize, promoted by the Korean Ministry of Education, Science and Technology for his studies, arrived in Palermo after attending a conference organised by the Technological Agricoltural and Fishing District at Expo 2015.

The results of the Dimesa project which presents the Mediterranean diet through the promotion of specific products of excellence of the Sicilian food and agricoltural sector, endowed with healthy characteristics which are part and parcel of the Mediterranean diet itself have actually just been presented in Milan.
