(ANSA) - TRIESTE, MAY 20 - ''A shared innovation and research
'governance' in the field of marine technology, in order to
create a network and enhance our common territorial and social
capital''. According to the Regional Councillor for University
and Research of the Fvg Region, Loredana Panariti, this the main
goal of the conference on marine technologies, which was held
today in Trieste.
The conference, sponsored by Friuli Venezia Giulia Region along
with the Naval and Nautical Technological District (Ditenave),
is part of the EU strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian macro-region
and of the celebrations for the European Maritime Day.
The conference offered the representatives of the EU's
Directorates, the Education Ministry, scientific institutions
and businesses, the chance to swap skills and experiences in
this field.
Another meeting on the subject of marine technologies in the
framework of the Adriatic-Ionian strategy is scheduled for this
autumn. ''This conference will be an opportunity - Panariti
concluded - to take stock of what we've already done and develop
integration''. (ANSA).
