Ukraine: gas consumption reduced by 30% over last 5 years
Poroshenko, switch over to our own gas production

(ANSA) - UDINE, 27 AGO - Gas consumption in Ukraine has
decreased by 30% as compared to 2013. Ukrinform reported,
quoting the statements of the President of Ukraine Petro
Poroshenko.
"I set the task to switch over to our own gas production and reduce inefficient gas consumption. To date, gas consumption has been reduced by almost 30% as compared to 2013," Poroshenko announced at the meeting with workers of the "Zoria"- "Mashproekt" Research and Production Complex for Gas Turbine Construction during his working trip to Mykolayiv region.
At the same time, Poroshenko noted that the Ukrgazvydobuvannia - the main company in extracting natural gas and gas condensate in Ukraine - increased gas production.
