Energy: new powerline between Romania, Serbia inaugurated

Between Resita and Pancevo, EUR 17 mln investment

(ANSA) - BELGRADE - A new 400-kV interconnection power line between Resita, in Romania, and the city of Pancevo in Serbia was inaugurated in the previous days, Romanian media have reported.

The Romanian state-owned Transelectrica's project was realized through a 17 mln euro investiment and it is of European interests, as it connects Central and Southern East Europe.

The powerline is 131 kilometers long, with 63 on the Romanian territory. (ANSA).
