Chernobyl, forest fire in exclusion zone still active
Fears of radiation spread at long distances

(ANSA) - MOSCOW - Ninth consecutive day of fire in the
forest in the exclusion zone near the nuclear power plant of
Chernobyl. The fire, according to Tatiana Timochko, expert of
the Ukrainian Environmental League, could threaten the spread of
radiation even at long distances. (ANSA).
