(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 11 FEB - Nearly 62,000 marriages were registered in Hungary between January and November 2019, one of the highest number recorded in the country since 1990, the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH) said in an infographic today.

After a low point reached in 2010, the number of weddings has experienced an upward trend in the recent years, the KSH added, speaking of a current "marriage boom" in the country. According to the KSH infographic, around 66,000 marriages were registered in the country in 1990, slightly more than in the first 11 months of last year. Currently, the average age at the first marriage for men is 32.8 years, for women 30.1 years. (ANSA).
