Alps Literature, new edition of 'Frontiere-Grenzen' prize

Open to all genres of contemporary fiction

(ANSA) - TRENTO, JAN. 13 - 'Borders-Grenzen', the literary prize for free subject short stories set in the Alps and open to all genres of contemporary fiction: traditional tale, new linguistic experiments, thriller, fantasy, horror, science fiction, letters, romance, theatrical work.

These days - thanks to the Internet site, which was completely renovated in terms of graphics and content - the prize ninth edition was launched. The contest is open to those born before 2003 (this year included), provided that they are residents of the territories included in the Alpine Convention, that is the Alpine regions of Italy, Austria, France, Switzerland, Germany and Slovenia as well as Liechtenstein and Monaco. The award is bilingual - Italian and German - but you can also join in with stories written in other languages used in the Convention area if accompanied by a translation in Italian or German. In the jury Carlo Martinelli (chairman), Peter De Marks, Lisa Ginzburg, Peter Oberdorfer and Stefano Zangrando. The contest is organized by the Cultural Association "La Bottega dell'Arte" in collaboration with the Trentino libraries of Primiero and Canal San Bovo and the South Tyrol Writers' Association.
