Estonia, more immigrants than emigrants

(ANSA) - TRIESTE - The number of immigrants in Estonia exceeded the number of emigrants in 2015, for the first time since the country became independent. A total of 15,413 persons emigrated, while 13,003 emigrated (2,410 persons less). The number of immigrants exceeded the number of emigrants in almost all age group, with the most numerous one being 20-39 years of age. Around 21% of immigrants and 15% of emigrants are EU citizens.
