(ANSA) - TRIESTE, 21 MAG - Around 1,300 streets in Polonia will change name as of 2017, when a new law, aimed at cancelling the traces of Poland's communist past enters in vigor. The law, approved almost unanimously by the Parliament last April, was signed Friday by the President Andrzej Duda. Proposed by the senators of the governing right-wing Law and Justice (Pis) party, the law does not include monuments, obelisks and commemorative plaques. (ANSA).
