(ANSA) - BERLIN - The costs of cannabis-based treatments for seriously ill people in Germany from 2017 will be paid by the national health service. Today in Berlin, the Cabinet approved the proposal made by Health Minister Hermann Groehe. The ill people that cannot be helped by any other therapy, will be allowed to ask for cannabis extracts in chemists' shops under prescription. The law should come into force by the next year's spring. (ANSA).
