US's TVN1 lands in the Balkans

(ANSA) - SARAJEVO - After Al Jazeera Balkans, a new television is about to arrive in the Balkans: TVN1, a regional news tv, which is CNN's exclusive partner within the whole region and will start broadcasting on October 30th. The main investor in the N1 project is America's United Group, the 'pay TV' platform leader in South-East Europe, which includes the largest cable tv operators in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia.
The three main production centres will be located in Sarajevo, Zagreb and Belgrade, each one with its own editorial policy, journalists, studio and web and mob platforms. They will produce three different local contents, which will then be merged into a single regional programme, when dealing with information of public interest in the three countries.
