(ANSA) - COSENZA, SEPT. 15 - ''More than 8,000 followers have chosen and voted on our Facebook profile the most beautiful shop window in the province of Cosenza, the competition organised by the Cosenza Chamber of Commerce in order to reward the business that has paid special attention in setting up its own shop window'', a press release issued by the Chamber reported. The American Bar run by Mario Forte, at Saracena, won the first prize, whereas the second and third prize were won by ''Polvere di stelle'', run by Vittoria Aceto, at San Lorenzo del Vallo and Cundari furniture, run by Maria Teresa Cundari, at Spezzano Albanese. ''Through this initiative'', said Klaus Algieri, head of the Cosenza Chamber of Commerce ''we wanted to not only enhance the business activities in Cosenza and its province and the creativity in shop window design, but also encourage entrepreneurs to use digital tools, especially social media, in order to promote their activity. In addition to the recognition obtained - Algieri added - the winning companies will have visibility on the chamber's website and will be involved in our school to work programmes . Moreover, all participating companies were given a handbook for corporate promotion through social media''. ''This award, in its second edition - the press release reported - is part of the #OpenCameraCosenza programme, developed by Cosenza Chamber of Commerce to make its relationship with businesses and territory more fruitful, focusing on new technologies as a driver to enhance participation in the chamber's life and encourage mutual sharing of experiences and purposes''.
