Romania: first electric Dacia city-car to be unveiled

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEBRUARY 20 - Renault will unveil the
first electric city car of its Romanian controlled brand Dacia
at the Geneva Motor Show in March, the French automaker
announced. "Dacia opens a new chapter and begins its electric
revolution. True to its history as an 'automotive gamechanger',
Dacia is entering the electric market and will present a 100%
electric showcar" on March 3, Renault said in a statement,
anticipating that this will be the "of the most accessible"
e-city car on the market.
The future Dacia electric car should arrive on the market
from 2021, the Romanian Ziarul Financiar reported. The model
could be produced in the beginning outside Romania, local media
suggested. (ANSA).
