Germany: PMI index shrinks in December to 43.7

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 02 JAN - The IHS Markit's Purchasing
Managers' Index (PMI), which monitors the manufacturing activity
in Germany, fell to 43.7 points in December from November's
44.1.
The index, which IHS/Markit calculates on the basis of a
survey among purchasing managers, shows a contraction of
activities, remaining below 50.0 for the 12th month in a row.
