(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 08 OCT - Around 1.1 million tourists
visited Bosnia and Herzegovina between January and August 2019,
a 11.5% increase year-on-year, according to data from the
national statistical agency, local media reported. The Balkan
country recorded also an increase in overnights, 2.3 million in
the first eight months of this year, +9.9%.
The highest number of overnights were made by tourists from
Croatia (11.9%), Serbia (8.3), Saudi Arabia (8.2), Slovenia
(5.0), Italy (4.9), United Arab Emirates (4.8), Germany (4.7),
Turkey (4.6), China (4.5) and Poland (4.1), the regional
television N1 reported. (ANSA).
