Germany: industrial production down m/m 1.9% in April
In March confirmed +0.5% growth month-on-month

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 07 GIU - The industrial production in
Germany fell by 1.9% on the previous month in April 2019, the
German statistical office Destatis said in a statement today.
The production registered a -1.8% on the same month a year
earlier, Destatis added, confirming at the same time that in
March the industrial production showed an increase of 0.5% from
February 2019.
Destatis said that in April the production in industry, excluding energy and construction, was down by 2.5%. Within industry, the production of intermediate goods decreased by 2.1%, the production of consumer goods by 0.8%, energy production was down by 1.1% and the production in construction increased by 0.2%. Destatis said that in April the production in industry, excluding energy and construction, was down by 2.5%. Within industry, the production of intermediate goods decreased by 2.1%, the production of consumer goods by 0.8%, energy production was down by 1.1% and the production in construction increased by 0.2%.
