(ANSA) - MILAN, APR 18 - The solution of Saipem's negotiation
with Gazprom could arrive "in a short time, maybe even very
short", said the company's CEO Stefano Cao, presenting quarterly
data to local media. "Obviously - he explained - after such a
long dispute, the process is quite complex and is going on with
a mutual satisfaction".
Cao does not rule out the assignment of an order in Serbia,
where Saipem "is completing an engineering project (for a gas
pipeline), whereas for the execution of the works there will be
another tender". The negotiation with Gazprom also provides for
"the involvement of the subsidiaries" of the latter, such as the
Serbian Gastrans, controlled by Gazprom. (ANSA).
