Serbia: public debt at 59.7% of GDP
It reached 201% in 2000, 28% in 2008

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 20 AGO - The public debt in Serbia stood
at 59.7 per cent of GDP at the end of June 2018, the Serbian
ministry of Finance said on Monday, local media reported.
At the end of May, the public debt was 24.1 billion euro, at 59.9 percent of the GDP, while at the end of 2017 it stood at 61.5 per cent of the gross domestic product. By the law on public budget, Serbia should aim at keeping its public debt under 45 per cent of its gross domestic product.
