(ANSA) - LUBIANA - Slovenia's Pipistrel, Aidovscina-based manufacturer of ultra-light aircrafts which has made a strategic deal with Uber in order to develop flying taxi, has recently bought new plants in Vipava valley to meet new needs linked to a supply agreement with the Indian Army, Slovenian STA press agency reported, citing the company's founder and director, Ivo Boscarol. Pipistrel CEO expressed perplexity about the future of the Duca d'Aosta airport in Savogna d'Isonzo (Gorizia), where Pipistrel operates to sell ''Panthera'' airplanes on the US market. Given the uncertainties about the future of Gorizia airport, Boscarol said, Pipistrel has decided to buy a stake in the company which is managing the airport. (ANSA).
