Revenues of Czech automaker have reached 13.7bn

(ANSA) - TRIESTE - Sales at record high in 2016 for Skoda
Auto, the largest Czech car manufacturer. According to figures
released by the automaker, 1.13mn vehicles were sold last year
all over the world, about 6.7% more than 2015. The revenues from
sales grew by almost 10%, reaching 13.7bn euro.
The best results were recorded in the company's profitability: gross profit increased by 30.8%, reaching almost 1.2bn euro. Net income, therefore, reached 915 mn.
The success of Skoda Auto, the manufacturer underlines, is due to better performances in traditional markets such as Europe and China, as well as the introduction of new models. The company's good performance also resulted in remuneration, which increased by about 30% since 2010. (ANSA).
