Swarovski to open plant in Serbia
Production units in China, Czech Republic to be closed

(ANSA) - TRIESTE - Austrian group Swarovski will open a new
plant in Serbia, Tanjug agency reported.
According to a note released by the company, the well-known
jewlery producer will close its production plants in China and
the Czech Republic and focus its production on its corporate
seat in Wattern, Austria and in the Serbian town of Subotica.
The opening of the Swarovski plant will positively influence other major brands to consider Serbia as an investment destination, said the President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Marko Cadez. (ANSA)
