(ANSA) - ROME - Gustav Klimt, Oskar Kokoschka, Rudolf Ribarz and Viennese Actionism of the twentieth century, but also contemporary artists such as Erwin Wurm, Markus Redl, Sigfried Anzinger and Markus Hofer. Starting February 11, Austrian art will be featured by the exhibition hosted at Capena Wurth Foundation (province of Rome) entitled '' A.E.I.O.U. From Klimpt to Hausner in Wurm - Austrian art in the Wurth Collection ''.

About 50 works are on display - including paintings, drawings and sculptures - made by from over thirty artists. Works which are part of the Wurth Group collection - the leading distributor of professional assembly and finishing products - founded in the 60s and which now has the largest collection of Austrian art outside Austria, guarded by private individuals. The title of the exhibition, the promoters said, is inspired by the motto of Emperor Friedrich III, who in the fifteenth century inserted in his arms, in the inscriptions, in the inventories and buildings he commissioned that acronym - AEIOU, that is, '' Austria Europae Imago, Onus, Unio '' (Austria as an image, burden and union of Europe). In addition to Art Forum Wurth in Capena - opened in 2006 - the German giant has 14 exhibition spaces around Europe. (ANSA).
