(ANSA) - BARI, OCT. 25 - AdriaWealth project, the wealth of the
Adriatic, has arrived in Albania for a stage in the city of Fier
and discussions are underway to deepen with international
stakeholders one of the key-concepts of this initiative: the
development of sustainable tourism as a socio-cultural and
economic opportunity. The conference opened today with a visit
to the archeological site of Apolonia and then focused on good
practices developed by the Culture Ministry. Attention will be
paid to the web by different stakeholders interested in
exploiting the opportunities offered by the large network that
Albania is using as a starting point to develop mutual skills
and improve knowhow in tourism and culture. The final results
of AdriaWealth will be presented at Aquila in November.
Designed by the Apulian Public Theater and the Tourism
Department of the Puglia Region, AdriaWealth was approved by the
Managing Authority of the IPA Adriatic CBC 2007-2013 programme.
