Albania, Croatia, Greece, Italy united in audiovisual production
21 September, 18:01''This is the third deal - said Aldo Patruno, director of the Department of Tourism and Culture of the Puglia Region - of a series of agreements we are making. We started with 11 Adriatic theatres, we continued with 8 Adriatic museums, and finally we arrived at Film Commission. Many projects are under way: they will be implemented after their official signing, and they will then take part in the European tenders to be published''. According to the president of Apulia Film Commission, Maurizio Sciarra, it's '' an historic event that the highest institutions of the audiovisual Adriatic regions will meet to plan the future together: the projects look to the development of modern forms of audiovisual which, at the same time, create a bridge between Italy and the Adriatic regions''. The agreement was signed by the representatives of eight organizations involved in production and support for the film industry and audiovisual productions: Apulia Region and Apulia Film Commission (Italy), Croatian Audiovisual Centre (Croatia), Albanian National Centre of cinematography (Albania), Greek Film Centre (Greece), Mediterranean Film Institute (Greece), Audiovisual Fund of Friuli Venezia Giulia (Italy), Emilia Romagna Film Commission, AdriaWealth, led by the Apulian Public Theatre. Among its partners, the Puglia Region-Department of Tourism, Economy of Culture and Territories Enhancement, with the support of the Apulia Film Commission Foundation and the Museo Pino Pascali Foundation.
