(ANSA) - LJUBLJANA - ''I'm happy to celebrate the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Slovenia that are excellent in all respects. Italy is one of our economic partners, the fourth for investment and this year the largest number of tourists came from Italy'', said Slovenian premier Miro Cerar, welcoming his Italian counterpart, Paolo Gentiloni, at Villa Podroznik in Ljubljana.

''It makes me very happy - Italian premier underlined - that this visit to Ljubljana is an opportunity to confirm and even strengthen the excellent relationship between Italy and Slovenia: we are two neighbouring countries, we are friends, and we are an example of how to resolve in a positive way all the issues related to our respective minorities, in the context of our common membership of the EU. We have excellent commercial relations, with 6,5 bn of trade per year, which makes Italy Slovenia's second trading partner''. (ANSA).
