Construction: sector down 10.8% Y-o-y in Romania
Highest increase registered in Poland, +18.8%

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 18 MAG - Romania registered the largest
decrease in production in the construction sector in the
European Union in March 2018 compared to March 2017, Eurostat
said yesterday.
According to Eurostat, the Romanian construction sector decreased 10.8% Y-o-y in March 2018, the largest drop in the EU, followed by the United Kingdom (-8.1%) and France (-2.5%) In March 2018, compared to the same month of 2017 the highest increases in production in construction were recorded in Poland (+18.8%), Spain (+17.1%) and Slovakia (+4.9%) The production in the construction sector decreased in Romania also between February and March 2018 (-9.2%).
