(ANSA) - BELGRADE, NOVEMBER 7. - The Italian Ambassador to
Serbia, Carlo Lo Cascio, inaugurated the "SHE - Superior Heating
Elements" plant this morning at Svilajnac, a town south-east of
Belgrade. The company, founded in 2018 by the Italian company
Thermowatt, Ariston group, will produce 100% armored resistances
for export to Italy, with a total investment of 2.5 million
euros. At the factory - the Italian Embassy reported in a
statement - 40 employees are currently working, but the company
has the aim of reaching over 100 employees over the next two
years. In his greeting, the Ambassador explained that thanks to
some businesses, Italy is sending a strong message in all the
cities of Serbia. "We continue to invest in Serbia, especially
this year, celebrating the 140 years of diplomatic relations and
10 years of a strategic partnership between our two countries,
and confirming our willingness to invest in our common European
future." ùThis message of collaboration and closeness, as
Ambassador Lo Cascio underlined during the ceremony, has been
reiterated during all the recent high-level political meetings,
since the visit of Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte to Belgrade, in
March, and until the visit of Environment Minister Sergio Costa
at the end of October. (ANSA).
