(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 6 - EU High Representative Federica Mogherini remains the only mediator in the dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo, said the EU spokeswoman Maja Kocijancic, quoted today by the Belgrade-based Vecernje Novosti daily, referring to rumors about the possible entry of Germany and France into the dialogue process.

These rumors have been circulating after the recent summit on the Western Balkans which was held in Berlin, organized by Angela Merkel and Emmanuel Macron, focusing above all to the issue of Kosovo and the prospects for the resumption of dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo. "Our contacts continue", the spokeswoman added, confirming that Mogherini will attend the May 8 and 9 meetings in Tirana, as part of the Brdo-Brioni process.

At the same time, Kocijancic reiterated the EU's request to Pristina to lift tariffs on Serbian imports, increased by 100%, in order to allow the resumption of negotiations. (ANSA).
