(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 17 AGO - The Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic announced today that a 'paramilitary' youth camp on Mount Zlatibor, organized by, Serbian and Russian nationalist groups, has been closed after strong critics emerged in the previous days against the initiative.

Around 40 children who were at the camp, aged from 12 to 23, which were dressed in military uniforms and were thought how to use replica weapons, have been sent home.

The order to dissolve the camp was taken because of the "possibility of child abuse" and due of "disturbing the public," Stefanovic added. The organizers said that children were only learning survival and orientation skills, and studying the relationships between Russia and Serbia. (ANSA).
