(ANSA) - UDINE - According to EU Commissioner for Education, Tibor Navracsics, '' the Western Balkans Summit in Trieste was a success in terms of enlargement prospects for eastern Europe, and one of the results is the future enlargement of the Erasmus program for student mobility, which is very important if we want to build a stronger European youth''. The EU Commissioner, today in Udine where he attended the 13th International Forum of Aquileian Euroregion, organised by Mitteleuropa association, reported that in his recent visit to Belgrade, where ministers for education and youth from the Western Balkans met, ''we celebrated the anniversary of the foundation of the Erasmus program and at the same time we talked about the prospects for enlargement through Erasmus Plus, which already includes non-member countries like Serbia, Macedonia, whereas other Western Balkan states - he said - are eager to participate in this project''.
