Enel: CEO, selling assets in Romania? There's no sacred cow

Everything can be potentially sold if there is interest

26 November, 18:07
(ANSA) - MILAN, NOVEMBER 26 - "There is no sacred cow in our business, everything can potentially be sold as long as we have completed our efficiency and growth projects for our business.".

That is what the ENEL chief executive, Francesco Starace, told reporters asking for clarification on the rumors of asset sales in Romania, where the group has been active since 2005 in renewable generation, distribution and sales activities. "We have sold in various countries, we cannot rule out the possibility of doing so in Romania too, it depends on the interest", he added, making it clear, however, that "no decision has yet been made".
