Bulgaria: stronger prevention measures against swine fever

110 of the 133-km fence built on the border with Romania

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 17 AGO - Bulgarian authorities are increasing preventive measures against the spreading of the African swine fever in the country.

According to Radio Bulgaria, more than 110 of the 133-km fence on the border with Romania for prevention against African swine fever have already been built.

Moreover, at border crossing with Romania vets with disinfectants are operating. Showers for transport vehicles entering the country have been set up, with passing cars and people being checked for foods containing pork products. (ANSA).
